Hylomar M/H/L/Aerograde/Advanced: Plastic sealants

Typical properties and applications of the plastic Hylomar types M, H, L, Aerograde and Advanced are:

Remain permanently plastic and resistant to vibration
Temperature range from -50 °C to +250 °C
Resistant to fuels, oils, coolants and gases (see resistance list)
Manufactured under license from Rolls-Royce plc and specified worldwide by original equipment manufacturers for over 40 years
Easy to apply with virtually “unlimited” assembly time, and simple disassembly and cleaning
For sealing water and oil pumps, engines, oil pans, cylinder heads, intake manifolds, gear housings, gas turbines, generators, vacuum systems and electrical switch housings (does not stain copper or silver, therefore suitable for areas close to electrical contacts)
Use on metal-to-metal sealing surfaces instead of conventional gaskets
Use as a sealing layer to improve gasket performance and to facilitate gasket alignment during assembly
Use as a non-hardening thread sealant
